Overview
The project aimed to revamp the Icarus Nova website using Webflow as the development platform.
Key Contributions:
Researching and selecting the development platform
Translating layouts prepared by the design team into CSS and html logic
Ideating on interactions for engagement
Making everything responsive across devices
Communicating with the design team with respect to the requirement and development of assets
Learnings:
The shift in vocabulary is immense between a coder and an interaction designer, and this was a challenge in closing the gap. Playing a bit of both roles, I felt extremely engaged in the translation from the design to Webflow. It made me look at pages, layouts, and sections as a system of interdependent and interrelated parts that come together to create a cohesive experience.
